Still hot . . . still bothered . . . and now facing a global crisis rivaled only by the climate emergency itself. Kate Aronoff and Daniel Aldana Cohen are back with a new season of Hot & Bothered, a podcast on climate politics in the time of coronavirus, hosted by Dissent and produced by Colin Kinniburgh. Every Thursday, Kate and Daniel are joined by friends and special guests far and wide, to make sense of the catastrophe(s) unfolding around us and think through what comes next.

So far, the new season has featured interviews with food writer Raj Patel, Justice Democrats organizer Waleed Shahid, and filmmaker and author Astra Taylor, on issues ranging from our broken food system to student debt to the fight over the future of the Democratic Party. And they have many more great guests on the way.

Starting at $3/month, you'll get access to a monthly, virtual happy hour with Kate, Daniel, and friends. The first edition will be on May 4 and, in honor of May the Fourth, may just feature some Star Wars-themed trivia, led by Kate.

If you can pitch in $5/month, you'll get a free ebook of A Planet to Win: Why We Need a Green New Deal by Kate Aronoff, Alyssa Battistoni, Daniel Aldana Cohen, and Thea Riofrancos, published by Verso Bbooks.

And if you can afford $10/month, you'll also get a free digital subscription to Dissent.

Better yet, if you sign up by May 1, you'll automatically get bumped up to the next subscription tier. So don't hesitate: sign up now on Patreon.

If you love the show (or hate it!), you can also join the conversation on Twitter using #HotBotheredClimate and write to the team directly at hot.bothered.climate@gmail.com

Thanks in advance!
